A celebration of memory, craft, and cultural layering — the Adhika Skirt is inspired by the warmth of nostalgic patchwork blankets from our lola’s home and the layered elegance of traditional tapis and saya skirts .
This breezy, midi-length A-line skirt is made for movement and ease. Designed with a comfortable adjustable waistband (each size fits two sizes — e.g., XS/S is one size), and yes — it has pockets.
Each piece is crafted from deadstock and vintage fabrics thoughtfully combined with either of these two distinct handwoven textiles:
•A honeycomb weave, developed on traditional handloom, draws from Bauhaus design principles and the pioneering woven works of Anni Albers — translating modernist geometry into tactile form.
•An overshoot weave featuring delicate patterns inspired by Philippine flora — from the soft petals of sampaguita to the broad leaves of the banana plant.
Rooted in heritage and designed for today, this skirt is a gentle statement — a wearable patchwork of stories, past and present.
