The Bani pants is a pair of tapered velvet pants that feature our signature handwoven fabric inspired by the leaves of banana trees and the pattern of traditional t’nalak handwoven textiles created by the T'boli weavers in South Cotabato. The handwoven fabric is made of 85% Philippine cotton and 15% abaca, naturally dyed with talisay leaves. It is a classic yet statement piece perfect for semi-formal occasions. It has pockets in the front and the back.
Textile handwoven by Marecil Luna in Argao, Cebu.
Garment sewn by Eliseo Lapeceros in Cebu city, Cebu.
Note: The handwoven fabric is naturally dyed without any harmful chemicals. The colour may fade over time.
