This bucket hat is a mix of different deadstock and handwoven fabrics representing the contrasting stripe and plaid fabrics seen in the traditional Filipiniana attire.

Deadstock fabrics are textiles that are leftover at the end of garment production that are often discarded. We sourced our deadstock fabric from a local garment manufacturer that can no longer use the textiles because they come in very small quantities.

Our handwoven fabrics for this piece are made with abaca, cotton and linen. Some of the yarn we used are naturally dyed with talisay leaves and annatto seeds while other yarn is synthetically dyed and oeko-tex standard 100 certified.

Model is wearing Small/Medium size.
